Step 1
Insert the following javascript code in the <HEAD> of the site
This code will make it possible to load the search engine and the product recommendations on the page.

These links can be used in thank you pages in a button and the Metarefresh.
The link structure is always the same, the destination URL can be changed in the last part of the URL. Giftomatic will automatically detect these links and make sure they go via the affiliate link.

To monetize any outgoing links to retailers you can use the following prefix URL. This link can be used for the “Thank You” page or in the emails.

How does this work?
Once a user has successfully chosen a gift card and you want to send this user to the webshop (via the affiliate link) you can use the metarefresh. This means the user will be “forwarded” after X-seconds to that shop.

- Determine the number of seconds for the refresh in the field content=”20; (change 20 into the desired number of seconds after which the redirect should take place)
- Make sure you use the correct link with the correct prefix, which will be provided by Giftomatic

The Giftomatic prefix links are a powerful tool to maximize the affiliate revenues and manage them at scale. It is a redirection service which makes sure that a commission is generated for qualified online purchases.
