At Giftomatic we are in the transition of start-up to scale-up and we are currently setting the groundwork for our exponential international growth. We are looking for engineers who have fresh ideas to bring our platforms to the next level.
We are looking for a skilled developer with in-depth knowledge of JavaScript and React concepts, excellent front-end coding skills to join our development team. In this role you will be at the heart of the company to build a future proof frontend architecture. Within our team you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts using tools like Typescript, Redux and Webpack. As senior developer you will also be responsible for profiling and improving front-end performance and documenting our front-end codebase.

Giftomatic was founded in 2019 and is already seen as the most innovative and fastest growing company in the gift card market. By using technology and data Giftomatic enriches the experience of giving, receiving and spending gift cards for the consumers and companies.
We’ve developed various solutions that gift card companies have implemented in their flow to serve hundreds of thousands of gift card users. In November we launched our own app with which consumers and companies can give gift cards in a festive and hyper personal way. Besides this app, Giftomatic has developed various white label tools for a growing number of gift card partners. The most visible of these tools is our Gift finder, where consumers can search through millions of products to easily spend their gift card.
Partners who are already using these white label tools are Fashioncheque, VVV Cadeaukaart, Webshop Giftcard, Yourgift and Getsbygift. Giftomatic is in the transition phase from start-up to scale-up and in 2021 we will execute an ambitious plan to internationally become the market leader.
Giftomatic is located in Haarlem (near Amsterdam in the Netherlands) next to the highest tower of the city (KPN Tower). The office is excellently accessible with the train station (Haarlem Spaarnwoude) at 5 minutes by foot. If you come by car then parking is free and there’s always space available. In the building we’re located there’s a high-quality caterer available that makes an amazing lunch and to unwind we have a ping pong table, a dart board, a dutch ‘sjoelbak’, various lounge corners and a Super Nintendo with Mario kart and Street Fighter 2.
Giftomatic was founded by experienced internet entrepreneurs who have already founded successful concepts. With 11 million users, Symbaloo was the most well known. You will work closely with the founders and as one of the first employees you will gain an important position in the company. Pioneering, innovating and discovering new models and making it scalable is what drives us.
